Russian Asset Tracker
OCCRP / GLOBALWAR / OLIGARCH ASSETS
The investigation became a public, searchable interface for accountability.
After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, OCCRP and partners built the Russian Asset Tracker as a public map of wealth, sanctions, property, aircraft, yachts, companies, and family networks tied to Russian officials and oligarchs.
The key exhibit move is that the investigation becomes an interface. The reader is not only consuming a story about hidden money. The reader can search, filter, inspect, and follow the chain. The database becomes a public accountability object.
This is one of the strongest visual directions for Chapter IV because it replaces mission language with evidence architecture. Journalism is not asking to be believed. It is publishing the ledger.
